Got a call from a number that popped up as spam on some random website.

A woman rang claiming she was from Boots Opticians and said she knew my husband had an upcoming appointment. She wanted to talk to him directly, but he wasn’t keen as we were just about to head out. I mentioned I also had an appointment, but she didn’t seem to have any info about me. After a bit, I managed to end the call and then phoned Boots Opticians myself. They said it could be from their head office, but that’s odd since the number looked local. The caller had quite a strong accent, so I had to ask her to repeat things a few times. She said she might ring back to speak to my husband, but now that we recognise the number, we’re not gonna pick up!
