My local number got spoofed and someone ended up sending about £300 to Amazon and another £1100 through a transfer. Total scam, no doubt about it. But what bugs me is BT's message telling you to press 5 to call back. Doesn’t that make BT kinda responsible for keeping the line open to scammers? Seems dodgy to me.
