This is my third time today getting a call supposedly from Amazon telling me my subscription has run out and offering me a choice to renew or cancel. Problem is, I have a direct debit set up that won’t be taken until September. What’s weird is how they keep switching the number but say the exact same thing. I’ve ended up blocking loads of numbers beginning with 01305 8… now there's at least ten of them, all claiming to be Amazon. Funny thing is, 01305 is my local code but I’m pretty sure numbers don’t actually start with 01305 8 around here.
