I got a call supposedly from BT, but I’m pretty sure it was dodgy. The background was full of loud call centre chatter, barely let me hear the person properly. It’s hard to imagine BT running a big office like that during lockdown with everyone cramped together. A real telecom firm would know how to have staff working remotely safely by now. Watch out for calls that say they’re from this number. These fraudsters can easily fake phone numbers, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they keep using the same one again and again.
