Some bloke called Paul Adams, sounded really foreign, rang me from 01305 713854 - which weirdly isn’t a real number. He claimed he was from BT Openreach, saying my broadband wasnt working properly and he could sort it out. He started asking about the lights on my router, which is exactly the kind of nonsense scammers spout. He was super pushy and a bit creepy. I told him I could see blue, red, green, yellow, purple and white lights on the modem, but he didn’t even blink. Said it was all perfectly normal. After a while, he just hung up on me.
