some bloke rang claiming to be from bt openreach saying there was an issue with my phone line. i hadn’t noticed anything wrong and definitely hadn’t reported any fault. he then said he needed to link a bt server to my laptop to run some checks. i told him that sounded dodgy and asked for his phone number so i could ring him later. he said he got why i was wary but insisted it was the only way to find the problem.

Some bloke rang me up saying there's a problem with my BT line. Problem is, I ain’t even with BT! I thought I’d have a bit of fun messing him about. After a while, I got bored and just came out with it, told him straight I knew he was dodgy and a complete lowlife, like a rat wallowing in muck.
