Received a phone call from this digits, and the lass on the other end claimed to represent a firm aiming to enlighten me about my entitlements concerning energy providers. I decided to terminate the conversation and hang up. The number seemed local, so on a whim, I tried ringing back, but there was no response. This certainly gives off the vibe of a scam intended to fleece unsuspecting individuals. By the way, she had a Scottish accent.

I received a call from this number around half five this evening; it rang once and then promptly disconnected.

I received a call from this number and couldn’t place it at all. It seemed like a local-ish caller, so I decided to give them a ring back, but there was no reply. Odd, isn't it?

It took a good while before they finally picked up. When they did, the chap claimed to be from an outside firm aiming to discuss my rights relating to energy suppliers. I decided to end the call. The number showed as local, but there was no ID or company name provided.
