I picked up the phone to a strange call one day, and the person on the other end claimed I’d been in an accident. When I told her that wasn’t the case, she insisted that someone at my address had been involved in one over the past two years. When I inquired about the specific address she had, she provided one that wasn’t mine at all! Since that day, I’ve been getting one or two of these calls every day. You’d think after that initial conversation, they would have taken my number off their list! In any case, I’ve now gone ahead and blocked that number, as they only let it ring a few times before hanging up.
