Got a call today from someone using that typical sales pitch, but when I asked how they got my phone number or how they knew me, they just wouldn't give me a straight answer. I got fed up and ended the call. The voice sounded like someone from AAP Law, but there isn’t anyone by that name around here. Makes me think these cold callers can now spoof local numbers to trick people into picking up.
