I answered the phone but there was nothing but silence. The area code matched mine exactly, which threw me off. I don’t know the number and it’s definitely not saved in my phone. I checked another site and apparently it’s linked to cold calls about some lagging issues. Is it possible these scammers are getting smart and using local area codes to trick folks into answering or calling back? If that’s the case, it’s a new one for me.
