Got a call from 01305 293705, looked like it was from nearby, so I picked up. It was a recorded message claiming to be from Amazon, telling me I'd been charged £95 for renewing my Prime Membership and there was an issue. They asked to press 1 to "make a payment" or 2 to talk to an "agent". Since I'd sorted my membership renewal back in October, I knew straight away it was a scam. This was the first time a scam caller pretending to be local has rang me, so watch out for this one!
