I received a call from what sounded like a call centre. The chap on the other end had a thick foreign accent and was attempting to either sell me a washing machine or perhaps offer a renewal on my current warranty. I can't quite put my finger on it, but his command of English left a lot to be desired.

At around 5 in the evening on 21st Jan 2020, I got a call that seemed like it was coming from a call centre. I could hear a lot of noise from people chatting in the background. When I answered and started talking, they just disconnected the call.

Whenever I get a call from a number I don't recognise, I just stay quiet. Most times, they hang up pretty quickly. This one showed up as being from Dorchester on my caller ID - yeah, right! Definitely not true. I've blocked the number now.
