My phone just rung twice and when I answered, there was nothing but silence. It's happened a couple of times now.

Got a call from someone who spoke English but with a really thick American accent, asking if we wanted to extend a Sky warranty - we’ve never even had one! When I asked which company they were from and mentioned we’re on the do not call list, they just hung up. I’ve read that Trading Standards suggest trying to find out who exactly is calling and what company they represent, then report it. Seems like the number might be some sort of Skype or internet-based number from overseas.
