Got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent claiming there was a virus on my computer and he needed to fix it. I asked which device, and he said the one at home. Thing is, that PC isn’t even hooked up to the internet! Plus, my partner works in IT and we’ve got three firewalls set up. When he insisted on remote access, I just nicely told him to jog on.
