I got calls from some timeshare exit company. They ask for loads of cash right away and then try to claim about 40% of whatever they recover for you. Altogether, that can end up being like 60% or more, leaving you with barely anything. Honestly, watch out before handing over your info because they tend to pass it around to other firms as well.

When I asked them for more info about their company, instead of answering, they went off on a long rant about how I was asking the wrong questions.
