Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming there’s dodgy stuff happening on my router. He said he’d ‘help’ me fix it and even offered to guide me through it if I turned on my PC. Apparently, their main office is in London, right beside a McDonald’s - how predictable! I told him I’d just wasted a good five minutes of his day, stopping him from conning someone else, and he seemed pretty annoyed. I’m going to unplug my internet for a few days just to be safe.
