How peculiar! I just had a run-in with the very same number that purported to be from O2. They insisted I could snag a 40% reduction on my bill, but first, I’d need to receive two codes via text to unlock this discount. Seems a bit dodgy, doesn’t it? Almost as if they were more interested in breaching my account instead! I told them I was just around the corner from the O2 shop and that I would pop in to ask them about it, which made them hang up rather abruptly. Quite amusing, if you ask me!
