Some bloke rang up and asked to speak to someone, but I couldn’t really catch the name; sounded like he was mumbling or something.

Had a call claiming to be from Vodafone, but it felt off straight away. Vodafone never ring out of the blue asking for personal info. Plus, they’d know who you are already since they made the call. When they didn't even say my name and just gave some rubbish about security, I just knew it was dodgy and ended the call. Definitely a scam to watch out for!

Someone pretending to be from my phone company called asking for my account info. I didn’t share anything and asked him what it was about, but he just wanted my security details first. I just told him to buzz off and ended the call!
