When I asked him for some important details about the call, instead of answering, he just snapped at me, "Oh, shut up," and then ended the call abruptly.

Got a ring this evening from someone claiming to be with CPS - Call Preference Service, they even knew my address. They said my phone was flagged for unwanted calls and promised a gadget to block them and punish the companies sending the spam. Then they said there’d be a monthly fee for it. I just ended the call straight away!

When I asked which company he worked for, he just didn’t answer and kept quiet. I ended up hanging up before they could transfer me. Weird thing is, I don’t even have a TV warranty!

Got a call on my home phone about an hour ago, like 5:45pm. Some guy said, “Mrs, your TV is still switched on and it’s costing you an extra £7 every month.” I told him he had the wrong person and asked where he was ringing from. Then this Asian sounding bloke just cut me off. Honestly, anyone who knows my name like that just seems dodgy to me!

some bloke with a strong asian accent called me saying I owed money for tv repairs! he even had my address! i told him i knew nothing about it and he just dropped the call. i only phoned back a missed call from a local number before all this, could be related? bit fishy if you ask me.
