Scam alert! I've just received a call from someone claiming to be "Martin from OEG." He was prattling on about our home's energy efficiency and mentioned something about a complimentary service. Sounds dodgy, doesn’t it? Definitely a red flag!

Not sure if it’s just me but there’s a weird routine with these scam calls. One day I get a call that leaves no message on my answer machine. Then, pretty much the next day around midday, I get another from a different number that sounds just as dodgy. I bet by this arvo there’ll be another one, and tomorrow morning sometime near 9 it’ll probably happen again. Being on the TPS doesn’t stop them at all. Honestly, the best thing to do is just block ’em and pretend they don’t exist.
