Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media saying my internet was running slow. They asked me to check my speed and then wanted me to visit a website so they could access my computer remotely. I asked for the name on the account because I was suspicious and mentioned something about being a court bailiff, but the person couldn’t explain data protection laws properly. Then they just hung up. Be careful - if you let them connect to your PC, all your information could be exposed.

I keep getting calls from this ‘I love my offers/office’ lot (can't even tell what their actual name is when you accidentally ring them back). They've got my number and ring me from loads of different ones. Luckily my phone flags them as likely spam so I just block straight away. Even rubbish you find in the street had some value once, before it got dumped everywhere. These annoying telemarketers have absolutely no good side whatsoever.
