When I answered the call, there was utter silence on the other end. Not a word, just eerie quietness. Eventually, the call dropped. Sounds like spam to me, wouldn't you agree? Number in question: 01303901767.

Got a call and some weird robot started saying nonsense, then it went over it again. I just ended the call and blocked them straight away. Total scam.

Today I’ve received four calls from various numbers, all sharing the same 01303 area code - for instance, 901774, 901769, and 901771. Each time I blocked the number, they’d ring again from a slightly different one but still within that same area code. I tried calling these back from another landline, and after getting through, a recorded message came on saying something like, “Your call is very important to us, please hold and you’ll be connected to the next free agent.” Seems like they’re using loads of different numbers to keep calling.
