Got a call from someone saying they were Max from Energy Saving. Seems like one of those annoying sales calls trying to push some kind of deal.

These people calling really should be stopped and dealt with properly, they're just preying on the elderly. It's so wrong how they take advantage like that.

Got a call from a woman with a heavy Indian accent, her English was all over the place. She was pushing some kind of energy-saving plan, asking loads of questions about the age of my boiler, the type of house I live in, who owns it, and if I want new windows, loft insulation or a new boiler. It was a proper headache trying to follow her. Told her it’s a council house and that should’ve been the end but she just kept going. In the end, I just gave up and hung the phone up.
