The caller ID showed a somewhat nearby number, so I picked up, thinking it was someone local. Turns out it was a robo call warning me about suspicious activity - two supposed transactions said to be unauthorised: a £300 purchase on Amazon and a £1000 overseas transfer. They didn’t mention which bank, just a generic fraud alert. Honestly, do these people realise not everyone shops on Amazon? Either way, I’ve blocked the number.
