A rather amusing chap called, claiming to be from the government’s loft insulation initiative, but then mentioned he was with the 'Energy Advice Service' based in Oxfordshire. I was a bit sceptical and opted not to share any personal details he sought. When I probed about why he’d be using a local number despite being so far away, he promptly cut the call. Undoubtedly just another attempt at a scam.
