Got a call from a bloke pretending to be with some energy firm. He said he’d been ringing me for a couple of days. Same story, different number. I told him straight up I knew it was a scam since I’d heard that one before, then just hung up.

A bloke named James Honeywell, claiming to be from Relief Energy, has been ringing me non-stop lately. When I answered, he wanted to know if I owned the house, and I told him I didn’t. But he just brushed that off and kept repeating his name, then went on about how he could cut my energy bills. He asked whether we had double-glazed windows. I shot back, ‘Look, times are tough, but maybe you should find a proper job instead of tricking people.’ At some point during that rant, he just ended the call. Total scam, nothing else.
