While checking a journal site, suddenly a message popped up, claiming my personal info on the PC was being accessed right then! It suggested I call 201303 610056. When I phoned, a bloke got into my computer and told me it’d be £151 to sort out since the warranty was expired and I needed an antivirus. This is definitely a scam - don’t dial that number! Just shut everything and reboot your machine instead.

I had a similar experience just this evening. I received a notification on my computer from Microsoft, warning me that a hacker had accessed my credit card information. I rang the number provided, and it was eerily akin to what others have described. I'm unsure if they obtained any of my details, but I've taken precautionary measures and cancelled my cards. Just a word of advice: steer clear of calling them!

Got a call from a bloke named “Nitin”, kept pushing me to let him access my computer remotely. Said the only way to get rid of some “block” was coughing up £250. After I told him to jog on and hung up, he rang me twice more. Pretty obvious he was fishing for my bank info.

Beware of these deceitful computer scammers. A distressing alert appeared on my screen, prompting me to contact a number that claimed all my personal data had been compromised and that a dire virus had infected my system. They masqueraded as Microsoft support, but their manner was exceedingly aggressive. When I dared to question their legitimacy, they became quite irritable, accusing me of rudeness for doubting their claims. It's clear that no genuine customer service representative would adopt such an unprofessional tone. Their frustration only confirmed something was amiss, and the poor acting they displayed further unveiled their underhanded intentions. I kindly instructed them to disconnect from my computer, as my system was completely fine; a simple reboot proved that. Don't engage with them!

My computer suddenly locked up with a message saying it had been disabled and to ring a ‘support number’ immediately to avoid more problems. A man with an Indian accent named Krishna came on, wiped the screen clean, and started explaining that my original support had run out and I needed to pay £226 to renew it. I could hear voices behind him telling others how to secure their machines. Don’t fall for this scam!
