I have no clue how it began, but this number has scammed me by charging my mobile four times. On my phone bill, it shows up as digital virgo, and I got a text saying "top steaming." Really annoying!

Bit obvious this is a scam, they want to charge you for stuff you never signed up to.

Got a message saying I’ve somehow signed up for a subscription charging £4.50 a week, unless I text stop to a certain number. Sounds like a dodgy scam to me, probably links to some premium rate line. If only these scammers put as much effort into proper work, they'd be doing alright, but instead they keep ripping off honest folks like us. The police don’t seem to do much about it so these crooks keep going without fear. What’s worse, this message came through to my 12-year-old granddaughter who hasn’t even got a bank account yet! Seriously, watch out for this kind of stuff.
