i got a call from a lady with an Asian accent claiming she was from BT. she said my internet was causing issues and would be disconnected soon. i told her it was a scam and just hung up.

Got a call first thing this morning from someone saying they were with BT, but the accent was really thick. Had to ask a few times who they actually worked for. They claimed there was an issue with my internet. I told them it was far too early to be dealing with scammers, then they just said alright and hung up.

Got a call claiming something about my BT line - I don’t even have one! Just told them to buzz off. It’s a dodgy scam and honestly, these people should be stopped. Just put the phone down and think “pants on fire” - it really helps calm you down!

Got a call from a guy who sounded Asian, claimed he worked for BT, but that’s just rubbish. He told me my internet was sending out warning signals to the provider or something like that. Don’t let anyone like that get into your PC, they’re just going to put viruses on it. BT would never ring you up saying there’s an issue with your internet.

So I got a call from some bloke saying he was Mark from BT about internet problems messing with my network. Thing is, I’m not even with BT, but I just humoured him for a bit. When I told him flat out he wasn’t from BT and I wasn’t about to let him near my router, plus that it sounded like a total scam, he acted like I’d shocked him or something. Seriously dodgy, be careful out there!
