I answered the call but heard nothing, just silence, so I ended it right away. It’s definitely annoying. Not shocked to spot it listed here. When I told them they were scammers, they quickly dropped the call.

I got a call from some automated voice saying they’d charged £399 to my “card” for something I supposedly bought on Amazon. The message told me to press “1” if I hadn’t done the purchase to talk with an Amazon advisor. I ended the call straight away and then got in touch with Amazon. They confirmed it wasn’t from them and that nothing had been bought through my account.
