10 yearsGot a call from a bloke from India who claimed there was a problem with my internet that was apparently their fault. He never mentioned anything about remote access just had me open different files to 'find faults'. When he showed me some errors, he just guided me on what to type and where to click. I was actually googling everything as we went along. The last thing he got me do was legit - it was a programme to get into your computer remotely. When I asked for his phone number, he hung up straightaway.Google10 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be with BT tech support, said there was a problem they’d somehow caused with my broadband and needed to fix it on my computer and router. They told me they were located in Rugby, Warwickshire, which I mentioned I also lived nearby. They seemed quite convincing at first when I asked about local stuff, but as soon as I pressed on a bit more, everything felt off. Pretty sure it was a scam meant to get malware on my system and then demand cash to get rid of it - if they ever planned to remove it at all.BTRugbyWarwickshireSubmit Your Own Report (01303 034004)
