Hey everyone, just wanted to share that I got a ring from 01302 117599, some firm trying to get me involved with car crash claims. Didn’t get any message, just saw the comments first and then decided to block.

Somebody rang me up asking if anyone in the household was getting benefits. Then they wanted to know what kind of house I lived in, like if it was a semi or something else, and how many rooms there are. They also asked about the age of my heating system and whether it runs on gas or something else. Plus, they tried to verify my address and postcode. I told them no one's on benefits and to stop calling me. The line was all crackly and sounded dodgy, so I reckon it was a scam. Sorted it by blocking the number.

They said they were from some “National Green Energy” government body or something, and actually seemed quite proud when I told them I’d report them for cold calling. Honestly, with how useless our politicians and fraud officers are, not really shocked by that.

They’ve tried at least 7 times without leaving any voicemail. I tried calling back to give them a piece of my mind, but after an automated voice put me on hold with some dull music for ages, I gave up and decided to block the number on my landline.
