Then they started going on about a “phase 2” of their work and said if I paid a one-time £59.95 fee, they’d stop all nuisance calls for life and even protect my emails and home address. I asked them, twice, to send me some paperwork to confirm this. Suddenly, they said they’d already done some work for us, but I told them I never paid anything before and again asked for proof. After that, they just hung up. The caller spoke good English but sounded northern, maybe early 20s?
