Today around half past four, I got a call from a bloke who asked for me by name. He mentioned his company, but it was all a bit rushed so I didn't catch it properly. He asked if I was being charged any fees on my bank account. I said no, and he insisted that he had info saying otherwise. When I denied it again, he asked if I was sure. At that point, I just ended the call. The thing is, I do pay a fee on my account, so it’s scary how easily someone could be tricked. He already had my name and number, and I could’ve easily slipped up and mentioned my bank’s name.
