This number showed up as an international call on my landline - a woman pretending to be from BT Open said there was a problem with my internet speed and that she could sort it out or whatever - I let her ramble on for a bit then firmly told her to get off my phone and find herself a real job because I’m not even a BT Open customer!

this woman rang me saying she was from microsoft. i let her talk for about 5 minutes before i told her she was talking rubbish. then some rude guy jumped on the phone and started insulting me. i told him if i ever find him, i’d shove a burning poker up his phone hole.

These calls are seriously frustrating. I usually don’t pick up if I don’t recognise the number, but they just keep ringing and ringing. Eventually, you have to answer just to tell them to piss off.

Proper pain that one. They never even left a message. Wish I could pick up and give em a piece of my mind!

Some bloke from Microsoft rang me saying there was some issue with my PC. I told him there wasn’t, said his Halloween prank was a bit too soon, and that he should ring his mum and give her the same rubbish before hanging up. Never heard from him again! Proper scam and so annoying!

Spoke to an asian guy with a thick accent. He was chatting to someone else nearby in another language when I picked up. Once he noticed I was on the line, he got a bit flustered. Mentioned Microsoft or something, made me chuckle, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from a woman who sounded Asian, said she was from Microsoft about my computer! I didn’t even let her carry on. Started going off about not owning a computer and when they’ll quit ringing me all the time. How many times do I need to say I don’t have a computer?.. then they just hung up on me.

Some bloke claiming to be a "technician" from "Microsoft" phoned me, saying there was some sort of hacking going on with my PC and told me to switch it on. He insisted he was a proper Microsoft tech. I asked where he worked and he gave me some Reading address, but that’s nothing like where the number’s from! Oddly, he knew the name of the last three people who lived here. Funny, cos we don’t even have any computers! He kept insisting he was legit and got pretty annoyed when I said he was fibbing, then started calling me Muhatma Gandhi or something daft.

Some guy called Peter Robbins claiming he was from Microsoft. He was really pushy. Said his Microsoft ID was MS1030. At the end of the call, he even said he’d block my computer. Didn't answer cause I didn't know the number. Just as the answerphone kicked in, the caller ended the call without leaving any message, so seems a bit dodgy. Most people we know, like mates, family or business folk, usually tell you why they're calling.

I've been receiving unsettling silent calls, and at the age of 75, it's quite troubling. I can't help but fear that I might be in the crosshairs of some dodgy gang with ill intentions. It's baffling, really, as I'm not wealthy at all; I barely scrape by on benefits. It would be a relief if these persistent calls would just stop, as they're ringing my number at least twice every single day!

I only picked up because I was waiting for a really important call! The guy, who sounded Asian, was so relentless! He rang me about 10 times in a row, and when I didn’t answer, he left a message on my voicemail shouting at me to ‘answer the phone’! Claimed he was from Microsoft and said there was an issue with my computer? Total scam, really pushy and wouldn’t stop even when I threatened to call the police. My daughter even spoke to him and told him to stop bothering her elderly parents, but he just kept calling back every time we hung up.

Received a right nuisance of four missed calls from this number before they finally got me on the line. They claimed to be from Microsoft, insisting there was an issue with my computer. I informed them I didn't own one! The lady, who sounded Asian, kept at it, blathering on about supposed problems with my computer. I told her rather bluntly where to go, and she threw back a remark before hanging up. I've since blocked that number, but my landline's indication showed they attempted to ring again, though my phone was silent.

Said she was from Microsoft, supposedly from around Thames Valley. She had to try a few times to get my address right, still messed it up - which isn’t hard to say properly! They rang me on 10/09/2019 at about 1:18 pm. They had called my old landline which only close family is aware of. I’ve seen this number before and checked the reviews here, so I just ignored it and didn’t bother calling back.

Got a call about some problems with my computer software. The woman on the line was Asian and talked really softly, making it hard to understand her.

01302 897519 called me again for the third time today. The first one said something about Microsoft and a computer error or something. I told them straight up, I don’t own a PC. I even joked that I’m psychic and could tell they were just scammers. Then they rang two more times with the same rubbish. Is this seriously all these lot do? So annoying!

I've been getting persistent calls from this number, and I simply don't bother answering them. I've gone ahead and blocked it, yet they still keep ringing through. It's so irritating!

Got a call from some Asian lady at 7:30 in the morning, honestly, I’m so fed up with these annoying calls. Think I’ll get myself a whistle later and see how they enjoy hearing that blasted in their ears!

Keeps calling me all the time, but when I pick up, there’s just silence, really annoying.

These twats just had a go at me, honestly don’t pick up any calls from numbers you don’t recognise, loads of scammers from India faking their caller IDs these days. They’re proper lowlife. I always report them to Action Fraud, though it seems useless, and I flag them here too. Wish they’d just disappear.

Oh, they're still going strong! Proper 'professional' sounding scammers taking advantage of folks who are easy targets. Shame Microsoft doesn’t offer a specific helpline to report these types. Good thing the fraud team is involved now - hope they catch all these crooks soon.

Lawrence Gordon Williams. Luckily the bank spotted something fishy but it was too late as the scammer already got complete control of my PC. They shuffled funds between my accounts acting like they were transfers from themselves as some sort of compensation. FYI, Microsoft doesnt have a support centre here in the UK so just hang up on anyone claiming to be from 'Microsoft'.

Somebody tried to take my 80 year old Mum’s bank info and pull out £2800. Bank stopped it, but they kept ringing her even today. She’s just been in hospital after a stroke, she wouldn’t usually talk to strangers. What horrible people.

Had a call from some bloke claiming to be from Microsoft, said there was a problem with my internet. I didn’t buy it and kept him talking while I looked up this website to see if he was a con. Played along for a bit then told him, "Let’s sort this quick, I’ll just need your card details, right now!" He went silent, seemed stunned, then started swearing like mad. I just laughed my head off and it really got under his skin. Job done!

I just leave a bizarre message on my voicemail and my mates find it hilarious. The dodgy callers never bother to leave one, which is a pity because they miss out on the whole thing! I never answer calls from unfamiliar numbers anyway. If it’s something important, they’ll probably leave a message.

Phone number 0130 289 7519 just rang me. I didn't recognise it at all, so I had a quick look on Google. Seems like quite a few others have received calls from this number too, and there’s no details or company associated with it. Quite suspicious, really!

Got a call from 01302897519 saying my computer was hacked and he wanted to help fix it. I told him, well, you do call me so often, maybe I should invite you over for dinner! Then of course, the line just went dead. No shock there.

Microsoft support? Honestly, what a joke. The guy just blabbered on, apologising over and over while doing absolutely nothing to fix my problem. My computer was slow turning on, and instead of helping, he kept asking me where something was on the screen - like I’m some tech genius or something. After ages of this pointless back and forth, I told him I’m on a MAC and raised my hand (figuratively, at least). Funny how you can get loads done by just letting them ramble while you get on with your real work. Truly “helpful” service if you love wasting time!
