I keep gettin' calls from this same automated guy with a computer voice, sounds very smart with how he answers and talks. Today alone I've had calls pretending to be from Safety Pendants, then Windows, and also some energy firms, all from these spoofed numbers and the same young bloke's voice. Pretty sure they're operating from overseas but use English voices to seem legit. Honestly, I just hang up straight away, best move anyone can make to avoid the hassle.

Some bloke named Sam rang me, claiming he was from Windows Direct. He mentioned he knew I was the homeowner, which I found odd. When I asked where he got my number from and if he had my permission to call, the line just went dead and he ended the call. Bit suspicious if you ask me. As usual, I reported it to the ICO.

Got a call earlier today from a bloke named ‘Sam’ who sounded pretty young and said he was ringing from a firm dealing with window replacements. I told him straight away that my number’s on the TPS, it’s ex-directory, and asked why on earth he was bothering me. When I pushed him for his company details, he eventually said something like ‘Telepro Marketing’ out of South West London, then just hung up. Tried looking that company up but couldn’t find a trace - no shock there! Definitely a scammer, so best to give it a miss.

Lately this Doncaster number has been calling me like twice a day. I never pick up, just let it ring out to voicemail, but they never bother leaving a message. From what I’ve read in other comments, it seems like it’s probably some sort of scam.

Got a call from a guy who sounded like he was in his late 20s or early 30s, saying he was with “Windows ITD” or something similar. He was going on about some scheme or maybe it was “1G,” can’t quite remember. Then he asked if I was the homeowner. I just gave him a quick sharp reply and ended the call.

Been getting calls from this bloke nonstop over the last few days. Every time I pick up, he tells me he's with a different business, like “driveway solutions” or “window experts” - names that don’t seem to be real companies at all. Of course, when I tried calling back, it just went through to some call centre that’s probably based in India, maybe Kolkata. It’s more irritating than harmful, but it’s worrying to think they might be targeting people who are more at risk. Definitely don’t hand over any personal info or bank details to these scammers.

This number has been calling me quite a lot. One call it’s some bloke called Ben selling windows, then the next it’s John trying to pitch loft insulation, and sometimes it’s Stuart offering driveway services. It’s the same guy every time, probably buzzing me about 30 times over the past couple of years. I keep telling him to take me off his list and stop calling, but he just comes back with a new name and a different story!

***SCAM ALERT*** I got a call from a bloke with a weird robot voice, sounded all automated. When I started replying all mixed-up and not making sense, he got totally lost. At first, he was talking about something related to windows or computers, but after about a minute of this nonsense, the call just dropped. Definitely dodgy!

Some bloke rang me claiming he was from Windows Ltd, asking if I'd heard about some government windows scrapage scheme. I told him straight up it was total rubbish because no such scheme exists. I'm sure these window companies and fitters just try to pull you in with false info, but don’t fall for it.
