I received a call from a blocked number, and the caller claimed to represent Indeed Law. They insisted they were compliant with the Telephone Preference Service, but it was obvious that wasn’t the case. When I inquired about their registered office address, the young lady abruptly terminated the call. It’s really disheartening to see these opportunistic individuals targeting vulnerable older folks.

I recently encountered a company named Indeed Law, which appears to be aiming their marketing efforts at elderly homeowners through what they term "cash for assets" propositions. Their contact details seem to originate from TPL Media, which adds a layer of intrigue to their intentions. Despite their use of the word "Law" in their name, it appears they do not hold any registration with the Law Society, which raises some red flags. It’s quite clear they engage in cold-calling, plain and simple. The distress it caused to a relative was rather concerning, as they were left bewildered not only by the abrupt nature of the call but also by the fact that this company intended to simply drop by unannounced for an explanation. Frankly, it's quite inappropriate for any business to operate in such a manner.

My folks got a rather unsolicited call from this number the other day. A lady on the other end informed them that, should they ever require care in a nursing home, the rules dictate they might have to part with their property to cover the costs. I'm feeling quite dubious about whether this number is linked to some equity release firm.
