I've tracked down this number and it appears to be linked to a con artist operating out of India. These nefarious individuals seem to think of the UK as a golden opportunity, where they can exploit innocent victims with ease. It's quite alarming that, following the Thatcher era, these phone numbers are often distributed in bulk to foreign scammers, who then bombard us with incessant nuisance calls. It would be a proper action for any self-respecting government in the UK to put an end to this by tightening regulations on who can issue phone numbers. Yet, whether it's the Tories or Labour, it seems they all turn a blind eye to the situation, as if they’ve got something to hide themselves.
