For the last few weeks, we've had this bloke called John ringing from this number about driveways, plus a bunch of other numbers too. I told him once we're not bothered about driveways, but he just didn’t get the message. Now whenever I see the 01302 on caller ID, I don’t even pick up. Anyone know how to actually block these calls? I’m signed up with TPS but it’s doing nothing to stop him.

He was hanging around my driveway when I blasted my panic alarm at him right in the ear - that thing hits like 140 decibels! You could even try setting off a smoke detector alarm instead, works just as well.

Got a call like this just tonight. Asked them who exactly they were 'cause I couldn’t find any trace of them in the directory or online anywhere. Then they claim they're from Southampton, but I know the area code well enough and theirs didn’t match up at all. Pretty fishy if you ask me.

Sounds like a typical rental driveway scam to me. I hung on for a moment but it soon became clear what was going on. After telling them I wasn't interested, I just ended the call.

I got a call from a bloke named John, claiming to be from a Driveway Company. I clearly told him I wasn’t interested, but he just didn’t seem to get it at first. Eventually he caught on though.

TOTAL SCAMMERS! Stay clear and report every suspicious call or message to the proper authorities. Just search ‘action fraud’ and head to the official ‘police.uk’ website. Find the section for reporting phishing or scam attempts, read up on it carefully, then fill out the report form with all the info you’ve got, including any links or websites mentioned. You don’t need to sign up or give personal details unless you've been financially affected. The only way the cops can track these crooks is if we all report every scam we get. Don’t ignore it!

Got a voicemail from someone saying they're John, claiming to be from the Driveway Centre. The weird thing is, the voice sounded exactly like Matthew, who I know from that Oven Cleaning Company and JLOFT Insulation. Bit odd, if you ask me.
