I had no clue who was callin, totally random number that popped up on my phone.

So, this number just rang me again about these nhs health checks. I work as a data protection officer at a gp surgery, and honestly, I reckon it’s about time I report this number to the ico.

Someone rang me saying they were setting up an NHS health check appointment. Trouble is, they got my town wrong and never even asked where I live. They just booked me in somewhere miles away and sent the details in a text. When I checked with my local doctor, they said these checks aren’t arranged over the phone and appointments normally come through the post for clinics nearby. It definitely seems a bit fishy. Plus, the number to call back was a 0333 which might cost more than a regular call. I decided to just ignore it.
