Some bloke claimed he worked for O2. I'm not a fan of random calls, so I just said I was hanging up.

I didn’t answer the phone and there wasn’t any voicemail either. I’m guessing it was probably some sort of sales or marketing call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, saying they knew I was up for an upgrade - which is true. They asked if I wanted to switch my plan, but I told them I was actually thinking of ringing O2 to go SIM-only. Then they asked how much data I use each month, and I told them if they really knew about my upgrade, they should already have that info. They just laughed it off and ended the call pretty quickly, so I reckon it was a scam.
