Some bloke ringin' askin' if I had an old boiler at home. I said nah, that me Great Aunt Ethel had popped back home after Christmas, but that was really none of his concern, and I wasn’t lookin’ to swap her out yet. Then he asked if I wanted an au pair, reckonin’ there was some deal from Sweden - two for one or summat. I said my missus wouldn’t be happy, but he kept pushing. In the end, I just hung up on him.

They began by discussing some new rules about council tax linked to how energy efficient your property is. I told them my house is fully insulated with all the possible upgrades. I asked to be removed from their calling list. I also mentioned I’ve said this before and blocked their number, but they just keep calling from a new one. Then the bloke started asking about my boiler. I told him again to stop calling and ended the call.
