Yesterday, I received three calls from this number. It looks like they’re running a call centre, targeting those who might be inclined to pick up. Thankfully, I’ve invested in a call blocker, and it’s proved to be invaluable. Just this year, it’s filtered out 145 unwanted calls, and since the start of 2011, I’ve managed to block a total of 1080. Quite the lifesaver, really!

I've reminded them that they're infringing on regulations since I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service and have repeatedly asked them to scrub my number from their records. Yet here they are again!

I completely overlooked jotting down the name of the firm that rang me twice over the past week. They seemed to be jabbering on about my supposed experience in the 'heavy' industry, probably gearing up to chat about potential hearing loss and what claims I might be eligible for. I can't help but think that they or a related outfit would handle any claims that may arise. The funny thing, though, is that I’ve never set foot in 'heavy' industry, and as far as my hearing goes, it's perfectly fine!

I've had five calls since 11 o'clock this morning, all of them going unanswered. When I dialled 1471, it identified one of the callers as a potential PPI nuisance. I've now added them to my reject list. This is getting ridiculous! Whatever happened to the recent regulations that were supposed to allow us to file just one complaint to initiate action against these companies and hit them with substantial fines?
