This number phoned me 3 times just yesterday. Seems like some kinda call centre, just ringing for cash probably. I use a call blocker on my phone and honestly, it was a great buy. In 2023 alone, it’s stopped about 145 spam calls for me. Since early 2011 up till now, it's stopped over a thousand calls - 1080 to be exact. Pretty impressed!

Got a call from some really rude agent, kept yelling and acting all aggressive over the phone, asking about someone who clearly doesn’t exist. Proper intimidating experience.

Got a call at about 10:50 on a Friday mornin. I just knew it was either some PPI nonsense or a solar panel sales pitch. That’s the main reason I never pick up my landline now, even if it looks like it’s from nearby - it’s just another sneaky trick to make you answer!

Lately I've been getting loads of calls about PPI sales even though I’ve tried being polite, even a bit firm, telling them it’s illegal since I’m on the TPS. I even asked them repeatedly to take my number off their list but still they keep ringing. - caller: PPI sales

I missed writing down the name of the firm that phoned me a couple of times recently. They spoke about a period when I supposedly worked in some sort of 'heavy' industry, and I guess they wanted to chat about potential hearing loss claims. I reckon the company or one linked to them handles these kinds of claims. The funny thing is, I've never even been in 'heavy' industry work, and my hearing's perfectly fine.

Since 11 this morning, I’ve had 5 calls all showing up as P P I from 1471, none of which I picked up. They’re now blocked for good. Seriously, with all the new rules where just one complaint’s supposed to lead to action and fines, why are these still bothering people? It’s ridiculous.
