I got a weird call from some sort of automated voice saying my internet would be cut off soon by BT, but I don't even have BT. It kept giving me different numbers to press to sort it out. Pretty sure if you follow the prompts, they end up making you hand over your bank details or something.

Got a call on my phone from a number I didn’t recognise, but the area code was clearly from Manchester - loads of call centres there, aren’t they? I looked up the number here to see who it might be and decided to block it. Could well be one of those companies sending out PPI claim letters to us lately.
