Received three calls earlier today from some outfit claiming they had intel regarding my unsecured debts. I probed them on how they acquired this information, and they had the audacity to say it was from the government. I informed them that this was a blatant violation of data protection laws, and that the government wouldn't have access to such details. The chap on the line retorted, “Oh, so you’re more knowledgeable than me?” to which I had to affirm I was, given my background in finance. He then rather ominously threatened to dispatch “legal representatives” to my residence and promptly terminated the call. Complete and utter con artists, if you ask me!

I've received a trio of calls from this bloke insisting he represented some debt advisory service. When I mentioned I had no outstanding debts, he kept pushing, claiming I required his assistance. Upon my firm refusal, he resorted to hurling profanities at me. I've encountered these types of calls previously and suspect they ramp up the aggression to provoke a reaction that keeps you engaged on the line longer. Personally, I just disconnect as soon as I catch an accent from someone claiming to be with a company I’m unfamiliar with.

I’ve been getting calls from this number on and off for a few weeks now. Every time I pick up, there’s complete silence on the other end. I’m too wary to ring them back, worried it might be some kind of costly scam. I received a call from them earlier today, and as they rambled on about various things, I simply went along with it, informing them I was debt-free. They asked why I consented to their spiel and I replied that I was just returning the favour of wasting their time since they’d certainly wasted mine. What a cheek! The representative ended up flinging insults at me, calling me a right nasty name! Honestly, you’d think they’d have better ways to spend their time than behaving like clowns.

I encountered a particularly discourteous individual during a phone call. To make matters worse, he had the audacity to ask if I was “fu@#ing deaf.” When I requested an explanation and asked to speak to his manager, he boasted about his pride in his work. His parting words were the delightful phrase “fu@# off.” All in all, it was a thoroughly unpleasant interaction, and it certainly didn’t seem to stem from a reputable area in Scotland, as the number suggested.
