I keep getting these pesky calls from those chaps asking if I've been in an accident or want to claim some compensation. It's utterly infuriating!

Both my husband and I have been inundated with calls on our mobiles and landline, to the extent that it’s become utterly frustrating. I've missed some crucial calls because of these persistent interruptions, and often it’s from numbers marked as ‘unknown’. I’ve explicitly requested these callers to take our names and numbers off their list, yet they continue to bombard us, ringing from around 8:30 in the morning until 6 in the evening, every hour or so. It’s becoming quite distressing, as these callers are just a complete nuisance. I’m at my wit's end trying to figure out how to put an end to this madness. Whenever I attempt to block their number, they promptly ring back, albeit from a slightly varied number. And still, when I try to ascertain who they are and which company they represent, they stutter and hang up-they're infuriating! Is there any further action I can take to stop this incessant harassment?

I received a call from someone inquiring about an incident involving my wife that took place nearly nine years ago. They claimed to be from Maiden Newton, but to be honest, if that were true, I'd definitely recognise them, given that our little community is quite tight-knit and I know most of the locals. It's all rather puzzling!
