I keep getting calls from these Flippos asking if I've been in an accident or made a claim. It's seriously three times as annoying as anything else!

Me and my partner keep getting calls on both our mobiles and the landline, it's gotten so bad that I've ended up missing some really important calls because they also ring from 'number unknown'. Even though I've told them to take our details off their list, they just carry on ringing non stop, starting from about 8.30 in the morning right through till about 6pm, every hour or two. It's driving me mad and stressing me out since they're nothing but nuisance callers. I've tried blocking their numbers but they just call back using slightly different digits each time. Whenever I ask who they are or which company, they just stammer and hang up, which is really frustrating. Is there anything else I can do to make it stop?

Thought it was someone I knew since the number seemed local, but turned out to be some accident claim nonsense. Hung up and blocked the number straight away. - caller: accident claim

Got a call from this number earlier, didn’t recognise the location so I just didn’t answer, figured it was probably some sales pitch - number was 01300640201.

I got a call from a person claiming to be from Maiden Newton, asking about an accident my missus was in nearly a decade ago. Thing is, I’d have recognised them if they were really from here, ‘cos our village is small and I know most folks about. Seems a bit fishy to me.
