as soon as my voicemail kicks in, i just let the call go through, it’s a simple trick really! for any number i don’t know, i dont pick up straight away. ive recorded a message saying, “your call is being monitored, please state your name and leave a message after the beep and we’ll return your call.” if i hear a familiar voice while i’m nearby, i grab the phone, otherwise it just goes to voicemail. most times they either leave a message or just hang up. honestly, it saves me loads of stress and hassle!

Got a call from some foreign bloke asking about a boiler or something. I just told him to shove it and he ended the call. Blocked the number straight away.

Today I got a call from a bloke speaking weirdly about my boiler. I didn’t give away who I was, even when he nailed my name. Asked if he knew about the TPS and he just sighed and slammed the phone down. This is the third call like this this week! Why can’t these lot have any shame and find a proper job instead of pestering innocent people? Bet they reckon some daft sod will fall for their nonsense. Honestly, the government ought to lock these scammers and their bosses up publicly for a bit of humiliation.

Got a call about some issues with my cavity walls, which I've had from this number a few times but never answered before. When I said I wasn’t interested and told them they had the wrong person, they rang back from 07882 675877 and started swearing at me, calling me a proper nasty name. They were really rude and kept ringing after that. Honestly, don’t pick up if this number calls you, they’re just abusive on the phone.
