Today, Friday 10th July 2026, at about 12:35pm I got a call from this number. The prefix looks like it’s from Worcestershire, but why do these callers always speak with an Indian accent? A few weeks back, specifically on Friday 19th June, I had another call from 01299 518305. The person on the line spoke with an Indian accent and asked for me by name. These are tricky scammers, be careful, people! Don’t hand over any info - they’re just after your personal details so they can steal your identity and cash.

Kept getting annoying calls from the same number and they sounded like a scam, so I just ended up blocking them.

I got a call the other day that felt dodgy from the start. The woman asked if I owned a house, then kept probing for more personal details. Something about the way she spoke didn’t sit right at all. I cut the call short and blocked the number straight away. Honestly, she had a weird accent and it all sounded like one of those scam calls trying to fish for info.
