Got a call from someone who sounded Asian, kept asking for details but refused to say which firm he was ringing from. When I kept pressing him about it, he just gave me a first name that seemed dodgy and then ended the call abruptly.

Got a call from a guy with a strong Pakistani accent, his words were all muddled but I caught the word 'housing' somewhere in the mess. I didn’t hang about, just told him to get lost and slammed the phone down. Honestly, this week’s been full of these annoying calls from people who are clearly up to something dodgy, so I wasn’t shy about being really blunt. Oh well, tough luck. That number’s blocked now.
