Got a call from 01299452487 claiming to be from TalkTalk about some router issue. I told them I no longer use TalkTalk and mentioned I’d report it to the police, then just ended the call. Switched from TalkTalk ages ago because of these sorts of scams.

Had a call from a bloke with a weird accent asking me about my internet. I said it was all good and didn’t need any help, then just ended the call. Could hear loads of noise in the background as well.

Out of nowhere, there was nothing but silence and then some robotic voice just said “bye.” What’s the point of that? Honestly, I’m fed up with these annoying calls constantly coming through. I’ve tried the telephone preference service and being ex-directory, but nothing seems to stop them! 22

I received a call from a chap with an American twang who inquired whether I could hear him alright. When I affirmed that I could, he then proceeded to ask if I noticed any crackling noises, which I did notice. However, I decided it was best to say goodbye and end the conversation there. Seemed a bit dodgy, perhaps trying to coax me into purchasing something?
